Graduation rate soars in PSD

Poudre School District's four-year graduation rate for the Class of 2022 surpassed the state average by nearly five percentage points and is the highest four-year graduation rate recorded since 2005, according to data released Tuesday by the Colorado Department of Education. Student actors perform at Colorado Thespian Conference


Fort Collins High School's performance of "Chicago" was the sole musical production in the state invited to perform a full show at the Colorado Thespian Conference (or ThesCon) last month in Denver. In addition, three Poudre High School students received Superior ratings for individual performances and qualified to present at the International Thespian Festival this June. Martin Luther King Jr. Day March Jan. 16


Poudre School District, Colorado State University, and the city of Fort Collins will host a march celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16. The 1.3-mile march will begin at Washington Park, 301 Maple St., and end at the CSU Lory Student Center. The march will be followed by speakers, including poet and political activist Panama Soweto.
